For British Columbia
It is one of the top destinations for entrepreneurs. The requirements are:
- A personal net worth of at least CAD $600,000
- CAD $200,000 minimum investment
- The potential to create at least one new job
Unlike other provinces, the entrepreneurs will get residence permit only upon successful establishment and operation of the business. Until then, the applicant will be holding a work permit.

For Quebec
Quebec is another leading destination for business entrepreneurs, and the eligibility criteria can be classified as follows:
- A personal net worth of at least CAD$ 300,000
- CAD$ 100,000 minimum investment
- Minimum two years experience as an entrepreneur

For Saskatchewan
The eligibility criteria for this province include:
- A personal net worth of at least CAD$ 500,000
- CAD$ 300,000- $200,000 investment
- Creation of at least two jobs

For Nova Scotia
To qualify for Business Immigration in Nova Scotia, the criteria can be identified as follows:
- A minimum age of 21 upon application
- A personal net worth of at least CAD$ 600,000
- CAD$ 150,000 minimum investment
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an entrepreneur
- Get a score of minimum 5 (writing, speaking, listening and reading) on the Canadian Language Benchmark, either in English or French

For Manitoba
The criteria for business entrepreneurs are:
- Two years work visa to establish business
- A deposit of $100,000 to the government

For Ontario
The Business Immigration program for Ontario is divided into two sub-programs, namely Ontario Corporate Stream (OCS) and Ontario Entrepreneur Stream (OES).
The eligibility criteria for OCS are:
- An established business for at least 36 months
- Create at least five new jobs
- Submit a business plan
- Minimum $5 million investment to expand or purchase an existing business
The eligibility criteria for OES are:
- Suitable business experience
- Legally acquired personal net worth
- Create at least five new jobs
Upon meeting the eligibility criteria, the applicants are granted 2 years work visa. Successful establishment of business along with meeting other criteria will help secure permanent residentship. For New Brunswick

For North West Territories
The candidates must demonstrate the following:
- A personal net worth of at least CAD $250,000
- CAD $150,000 minimum investment

- Refundable good faith deposit of CAD $75,000

For Yukon
