British Columbia conducts another draw for Express Entry applicants

On January 16, British Columbia conducted another draw for its provincial nomination.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued 316 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates. The candidates were chosen from the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC.

The invited candidates were chosen from the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams, under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories. Besides these, an unspecified number of candidates from Skills Immigration: Entry Level and Semi-Skilled category were also issued invitations.

Express Entry BC stream is joined with the federal Express Entry system. It consists of the following three categories:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Class
  • Federal Skilled Trades Class
  • Canadian Experience Class

 

The Express Entry candidates who received an invitation in this draw received an extra 600 points in their CRS score.
